Top Prompt Library Privacy Policy

ViePerformance LLC provides Top Prompt Library. This policy describes how the extension handles information when you save and use prompts, create an account, enable cloud sync, or purchase Premium.

Information stored on your device

The extension stores your prompt library and preferences in your browser profile. Library data includes prompt titles, text, descriptions, tags, comments, folder membership, and folder names and appearance. It also stores modification information, prompt usage counts, sync state, and Premium status. If you enable variable history, values you enter for prompt variables are saved locally for reuse.

Imported JSON files are read on your device. Exports and weekly backups create JSON files on your device; they are not a separate online backup service. These files contain readable prompt content. Copying a prompt writes the selected text to your clipboard. The extension does not read your clipboard history or collect your browsing history.

Accounts and online storage

Google Firebase Authentication processes your email address and password to create your account, sign you in, and send password-reset emails. It assigns an account identifier and issues authentication tokens. The Firebase SDK keeps session information in browser storage so you can stay signed in. Your password is not saved as part of your prompt library. Password-reset links lead to Firebase's hosted page, and you need access to the registered email inbox to complete a reset.

When you are signed in with Premium cloud sync enabled, your prompts and folders are uploaded to Google Cloud Firestore under your account. This includes prompt text, titles, descriptions, tags, comments, folder membership, folder names, colors, icons, ordering and hierarchy, plus record identifiers, versions, modification times, and deletion markers. We use this information to save your library online and synchronize it across your signed-in devices. Local prompt usage counts and variable history are not included in this cloud sync.

Sync needs an internet connection and an open extension window. Offline changes remain on your device until synchronization succeeds. You can use the local library without signing in to a cloud account.

Premium payments

ExtensionPay manages Premium purchases and checks paid access. Its integration handles an installation or license identifier and caches account and payment-status information locally. When you purchase or restore Premium, ExtensionPay processes your email and purchase, subscription, or trial status. Stripe processes payment details through the hosted checkout. The extension does not store full payment-card numbers. We use payment-status information to enable the features you purchased.

Actions that share prompt content

If you choose Open in ChatGPT, the selected prompt, including any variable values you insert, is sent to ChatGPT in the destination URL. That URL may also be retained in your browser history. ChatGPT handles the submitted content under its own privacy policy. Copying, exporting, and opening a prompt in another service are actions you control.

Service providers and permitted uses

We use Firebase for account access and cloud storage, and ExtensionPay and Stripe for Premium payments. These providers receive the data needed to operate those features. Network requests also expose connection information, such as IP addresses and browser information, to the receiving service for operation and security. The extension does not request GPS location. This version does not send separate analytics or automatic crash reports, regardless of the saved telemetry preference.

We use your information to provide the extension's features, maintain and secure the service, and respond to support requests. We do not sell or rent personal information, use it for personalized advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness. Top Prompt Library's use and transfer of user data follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Human access to private library content is limited to your consent for specific support, security investigations, or legal requirements. Disclosures required by law or needed to protect the service may occur.

Provider information is available from Firebase, ExtensionPay, and Stripe.

Retention, deletion, and your choices

Cloud account and library data remain stored until you delete the relevant content or request account and cloud data deletion. Deleting individual prompts or folders removes their content from the active cloud library after a successful sync. Record identifiers, timestamps, versions, and deletion markers remain to synchronize the deletion. An offline deletion must synchronize before the cloud copy is removed.

Signing out or using Clear Local Library removes local prompts and folders and signs you out. It does not delete your cloud library or account, and cloud prompts can return when you sign in again. Settings, saved variable history, and downloaded exports or backups are not removed by Clear Local Library. Uninstalling the extension does not delete your cloud account or cloud data. Remove downloaded files separately when you no longer need them.

To request access, correction, or deletion of your account and associated cloud data, email support@toppromptlibrary.com. We may need to verify account ownership. Service-provider backups, security records, and payment records may remain subject to provider retention practices and applicable legal obligations. Clearing a local library or uninstalling does not cancel a paid subscription.

Security

Account and cloud requests use encrypted HTTPS connections. Cloud records are scoped to your authenticated account. Local storage depends on the security of your browser profile and device; exported files and copied text are outside that protection. Cloud sync is not end-to-end encrypted with a key controlled only by you. No storage or transmission method guarantees complete security.
